Kokosing has completed raw surface water intake improvements for owners drawing from the Great Lakes, as well as water treatment facilities replying on inland rivers and reservoirs. Our inventory of earth retention materials, including sheet pile, enables seamless construction in the waterway, below the water table, and through varying soil conditions.

Should construction warrant a marine-based approach, our Marine Division offers expertise beyond the reach of land-based operations. For large municipal water systems drawing from inland rivers and reservoirs, intake improvements may also include repair and/or reconfiguration to associated low-head dams.
