McGraw Kokosing was contracted to install a new GAN vessel in an operating steel plant.
The project began with pipe fabrication at our off-site facility in Monroe. Preparation on site included site excavation, installation of 16 auger cast piles and pouring the 23’ x 30’ pile cap. The GAN Vessel was unloaded at the rail yard and transported over 1-mile to the job site by a self-propelled hydraulic platform trailer. Once the vessel was set, we completed the installation of the process piping and instrumentation.
