Due to the complex location of the existing tanks, tank removal and installation was facilitated by utilizing a specialized jack and slide system. Modifications to the existing building structures was also required, which included – removal and install of over 15 tons of structural steel, piping modification and installation, foundation removal, and installation. McGraw Kokosing successfully executed this project by providing Project Management and Multi-Craft Skilled Labor Crews (Pipefitters, Ironworkers, Carpenters, Laborers, and Operators). We completed the work ahead of the 6 weeks, around-the-clock schedule, working over 34,000 safe man-hours.
