This project featured a fast, state-of-the-art solution following new EPA regulations. Kokosing crews had 14 months to plan, execute and deliver the project, the fastest project of its size implemented by the City. The project included extensive interior and underground piping work facilitated by our self-performed 3D scan and BIM model. Four, two-million-gallon, cast-in-place concrete tanks requiring over 100 pours, up to 600 cubic yards in one placement. Specially-crafted materials and components were sourced from across the U.S. Over 200,000 personhours were worked with zero recordable incidents and zero lost-time incidents. See our project board for more details. The Build Ohio Awards are presented annually at the AGC Build Ohio Celebration. The awards are based on the following criteria: excellence in project management, innovation in construction techniques and materials, excellence in client service, and meeting the challenge of a difficult job. Check out the project presentation here. This award was accepted by (left to right) Kyle Kuhlman, Jeff Albers, Courtney Jones, Laura Davis and Tom Muraski.
